M.Phil. & PhD in Psychiatric Social Work
Trained at NIMHANS, Bangalore
Couple & Family Specialist
I work with couples and families navigating some of life's most challenging moments — offering a calm, evidence-based, and deeply human approach to healing and growth
NIMHANS, Bangalore
National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences — one of India's premier institutions for mental health research and clinical training
My clinical training at NIMHANS, Bangalore gave me a rigorous grounding in psychiatric social work — working directly with individuals, couples, and families across a wide spectrum of mental health challenges. NIMHANS is recognised as an Institute of National Importance and remains the gold standard for mental health training in India.
Beyond individual practice, I have conducted workshops and training sessions in mental health for diverse audiences — including professionals, organisations, and community groups. These programmes focus on building awareness, reducing stigma, and equipping participants with practical tools for emotional wellbeing
I believe that every relationship — no matter how strained — holds the capacity for healing. My work is rooted in empathy, respect, and a non-judgmental stance. I draw on evidence-based frameworks from psychiatric social work and family therapy to help clients understand patterns, communicate more openly, and build stronger, more resilient bonds.
Grounded in rigorous academic and clinical training from NIMHANS.
A safe space where every person feels heard, respected, and understood.

Therapy Services
Every relationship is unique. My approach is tailored to where you are — and where you want to be.
About this therapy
Couple therapy provides a structured, safe space for partners to explore the patterns that keep them stuck — whether that's communication breakdown, trust issues, conflict cycles, or growing apart. Together, we work to understand each other more deeply and build a relationship that feels secure and fulfilling.
Who is it for?
This therapy is for couples at any stage — dating, engaged, married, or considering separation. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit. Many couples come simply to strengthen what they already have.
What to expect
Sessions are 60 minutes and held with both partners present. We begin with an initial assessment to understand your relationship history and goals. From there, sessions are collaborative and structured around the issues that matter most to you.
Restoring harmony within the family system.
Family therapy looks at the family as a whole — the roles, patterns, and dynamics that shape how members relate to one another. Rather than focusing on one individual, we explore how the system itself can shift to create more understanding, healthier boundaries, and stronger bonds.
For families navigating conflict, major transitions, or long-standing relational difficulties. This includes parents and children, siblings, multi-generational families, and blended families.
Sessions typically involve two or more family members and last 60–90 minutes. We begin with a joint assessment, followed by sessions that may involve the full family or sub-groups depending on what is most helpful at each stage
Understanding yourself is the first step to healthier relationships.
Sometimes the most important work happens one-on-one. Individual sessions offer a private, focused space to explore your own patterns, emotions, and responses within relationships — whether with a partner, family members, or others close to you. This is not about placing blame; it's about understanding yourself more deeply so you can show up differently in the relationships that matter most.
For individuals who are experiencing relationship difficulties but prefer to work through them privately — or whose partner or family members are not ready or willing to attend sessions. Also suitable for those navigating a separation, processing a difficult relationship history, or preparing for couple or family therapy.
Sessions are 50–60 minutes, one-on-one with me. We begin with an assessment of your relationship history and current concerns. Sessions are confidential, non-judgmental, and entirely focused on you — your feelings, your patterns, and your goals.
